What inspires you today? Whoare your design "crushes" or favoriteinstagramaccounts for inspiration?

I find inspirationliterally everywhereTravel, art and nature always stir up creativity and awe in me thoughI spent my childhood summers on the beach in Rehoboth Beach, DE and although I don’t consider my style to be “coastal” I’ll forever be drawn to the colors of the ocean, the sky and the dunes.  I’m also a life long art enthusiast.  I love incorporating original pieces into my client’s homes because not only do they add personality but they make the space unique.  A few of my favoritedesign “crushes” are Tori Mellott, Meg Braff and Meredith Ellis.  All three have an incredible eye for style and detail.

What is your favorite room in your own home?

My favorite room in my home is my living room.  It has a cozy seating area around a working fireplace, an abundance of soft, performance fabrics and lots of lighting options.  It lies between our foyer and the family room,so it’s a little out of the way, which makes it feel relaxed and peaceful.  I anchored the space with a large custom sisal rug and layered in all of my favorite fabrics andfinishes.  Its awash in blue, green and white textiles and bespokeelements like dentil, molding, original artand Greek key detailingAlthough it’s technically a formal living room, as it doesn’t have a TV, we use ityear round as an additional space to hang out, read, entertain and recharge!
