What inspires you today? Who are your design "crushes" or favorite instagram accounts for inspiration?

Inspiration for design is all around for me! Travel, books, wandering through the antique mall, and other creative small business owners are my biggest sources of inspiration. There’s so much to learn! Some of my current IG crushes are @lilysvintagefinds, @elliston_house, @zioandsons and of course @wellandwonder!

How would you describe your design aesthetic?

I would describe my design aesthetic as layered, meaningful and fun! You'll always find a shade of green in my projects, along with lots of pattern! I like to layer color and pattern. For example, a painted or wallpapered wall, with a floral drape and a striped roman shade sounds ideal to me. I always try to make my designs meaningful to my clients by using things that are important to them as a way to tell their story through design. I also love using vintage and antique pieces - at least one in every room! I mostly incorporate vintage items into my designs through decor. I love finding a big bowl or crock for a centerpiece with large flowering branches. I can't say no to little dishes or trays to use when styling a project, and it's always a treat when I find the perfect vintage furniture piece or work of art that is just right for the space I'm sourcing for!

What do you love most about including original art in your designs?

Original art is so special. I love following artists that I love and waiting for that perfect piece to add to my collection. I try to pass that love of art onto my clients by opening their eyes to different mediums and artists that fit with their unique style. Even down to the frame, adding original art to my designs makes all the difference.

Dream Project?

My dream project is designing a beach house! Whose isn’t? :) My family and I have been traveling to 30A most of my life and I have grand plans for a beach home that I hope to design (or own!) someday.
