We are forging ahead into 2022 boldly with a great desire to bring more artwork to your community where you can take in the beauty of brushstrokes and mixed media creations in person. We’re also determined to collaborate with more interior designers and small businesses who share our passion for beautiful objects with a meaningful story.
The Well Collected Guide Houston event we hosted last November with the help of TWCG Houston members Alicia Summers and Sherrell Neal is a wonderful example, and we can’t resist highlighting some of the very special women who made it possible.
Alicia Summers of Alicia Summers Interiors hosted our art and design event in her beautifully appointed Houston home. She was the epitome of gracious hostess, welcoming our team, artists and guests over the course of the two day event. Alicia demonstrated her eye for artwork by curating Well + Wonder artwork by Lexie Armstrong, Krystal Bilberry, Kim Hassold, Connor Heindel, April Sanders, Ellen Schuster, Erin Donahue Tice, Cheyenne Trunnell, Rebekah Webb, and Sarah Caton Wynne throughout her home.
"I truly enjoyed hosting the Well & Wonder ladies in my home. The event brought so many people in the creative interiors business together and the camaraderie was inspiring." - TWCG Member Alicia Summers
Curating artwork (and linens!) alongside Alicia was Sherrell Neal of Sherrell Design Studio. Sherrell not only curated the Dining Room, she also orchestrated the tablescape, incorporating Hibiscus Linens' lovely appliqué place setting and Texas cocktail napkins. Marianna Barran Goodall, artist, Mexican designer, and owner of Hibiscus Linens, was also present at the event, showcasing her old-world stitched linens.
This event was so timely, and it satisfied my eagerness to get out and socialize again! The main attraction was introducing our local community to the all-female squad behind this promotional event — the artists, artisans, designers, and curators. I'm appreciative to all who attended, as well as Well + Wonder, for their support of this truly inspirational and empowering event. - TWCG Member Sherrell Neal
The two beautiful Texas based artists above were also huge contributors to this event. Not only did Ellen Schuster and Sarah Caton Wynne deliver stunning artwork, they also attended the event and joined in on the celebration of art and design!
"It is such an honor to be in a community of artists where we are celebrating one another’s gift of creating beauty daily! It was especially fun to do that with other Houstonians!” - Artist Ellen Schuster
