Walls of Wonder

Floral Show + L. Spearman

In preparation for our Floral Show TOMORROW, we asked our go to St. Simon’s Island designer, The Well Collected Guide’s Lindsey Spearman of L. Spearman, to choose some of her favorites for her carefully curated interiors. All of the artwork seen here, along with over 130 pieces by 27 of our artists, will be available when the Floral Show goes LIVE tomorrow, April 26th at 10AM EST.

Take it away, Lindsey!

Easter Bouquetand Dinner with Friends by Maggie Stickney

"Maggie's floral prints are whimsy, feminine and bold. Each piece feels alive, drawing you into every detail. Her work would elevate the design in many different rooms. In particular, I would love to stack two of her pieces in a girl’s room. Incorporating Maggie's beautiful floral artwork into this bedroom with the dotted roman shade and the grasscloth wallpaper would surely captivate the eye."

Sonnet 1 by Kristin Cronic

"I immediately fell in love with Kristin's color palette and abstract style. I would love to incorporate her art into a client's sunroom. Her artwork perfectly balances soothing colors with energetic brush strokes. It deserves to be in a sunroom with a daybed, offering a tranquil spot to read. Here, the fabrics and artwork would be complemented by the abundant natural light and nature’s surroundings."

Blue Hydrangea 1 by Lexie Armstrong

"Oh how I love hydrangeas. I have vivid memories of picking hydrangeas in our yard growing up. Lexie's Blue Hydrangea 1 is a classic piece that would certainly pair with many of our southern projects. I love her timeless style and soft color palette. The unstructured striped wallpaper lends a softness that would pair stunningly with this delicate piece."

 Mom's Orchid by Allison Ford

"I love Allison's neutral color palette while bringing out beautiful shades of green and hints of blue. The earth tones in this floral piece are wonderfully unexpected. They lend a low country feel that mirrors our natural surroundings inspiring the design for this bedroom. Hanging Mom's Orchid between French doors would be the perfect space to display this beautiful work of art."

Lindsey, you have us dreaming of sunny, floral-filled days in these gorgeous spaces!! Thank you for sharing your design perspective and inspiring us to incorporate floral artwork into our homes!
