Walls of Wonder

A Memphis Mood Board with Elizabeth Malmo and Savannah Jewell

TWCG Member Elizabeth Malmo, Paintings by Savannah Jewell

When we come across an interior designer who has a passion and an eye for original art, we can’t help but be drawn to their work! Memphis based Elizabeth Malmo is one of these designers. In fact, it was painting classes at Parsons in New York that led her to pursue a career in interior design.

Naturally, Elizabeth and Well + Wonder artist Savannah Jewell found each other in Memphis. Elizabeth has installed Savannah’s work in various projects, including her storefront Collected by Elizabeth Malmo featured above.

In celebration of Savannah’s Water release today, Elizabeth created the mood board below with some of her favorite items that pair beautifully with Savannah’s latest work.

Savannah’s release explores the human relationship to water, a concept that this mood board enforces with color choices, natural finishes and beachy vibes!!

The following quotes by Wallace J. Nichols, author of Blue Mind, inspired Savannah's release, and we could not agree more that water has a healing quality!

“We are beginning to learn that our brains are hardwired to react positively to water and that being near it can calm and connect us, increase innovation and insight, and even heal what’s broken.”

“Water quiets all the noise, all the distractions, and connects you to your own thoughts.”

Thank you, Elizabeth and Savannah for bringing us some inspiration from Memphis today! As always, reach out HERE anytime with questions about TWCG or Savannah’s Waterrelease!
