We are entering week 6 (I think? I've lost count) of quarantine, homeschooling, working from home, trying to keep it all together, you get the gist.  As everything on my calendar started getting canceled (Heather McMahan show, Spring Break trip, a friend's wedding, the Kentucky Derby - that one particularly hurt this Kentucky girl's heart) there has been one thing that has remained on my calendar as a bright spot - FLORAL.  And I don't think I am alone in my excitement for this show.  Our group FLORAL show is our most popular show throughout the year.  Why?  Because to me, and I'm sure so many of you, flowers evoke springtime and re-birth and celebration.  Flowers are the southern love language between women.  Flowers, much like original artwork, fill our houses and turn them into homes by telling a story.   They remind us of our mothers and grandmothers, of holidays and weddings and celebrations.  And perhaps this year when all of these precious moments - celebrations and holidays have been taken - we need this reminder that spring is coming.  And to us, there is no sweeter reminder than with a painting.  Happy spring and happy FLORAL show, friends!
