There must be something in the water down in Fairhope, Alabama because another incredibly talented Fairhope artist has joined the Well + Wonder ranks. Welcome, Mollie Robinson!
Mollie (who also just so happens to be the sister-in-law of another of our Fairhope faves, Elisabeth Hays) comes to us with expertise in all things clay, watercolor, acrylic, ink, and charcoal. With a degree in Environmental Design from Auburn University, she has a passion for combining design and art with the elements of horticulture and ecology.
We can never say this enough but it is such a joy to grow the Well + Wonder community of artists and to share them with you all. Adding a new artist never loses its appeal and excitement. And the launch of Kristin Shearer and her debut collection is no exception. Atlanta-based artist Kristin spent 15 years working in commercial real estate prior to starting her art business and is endlessly inspired by the way people interact with the spaces they live and work in. Often assisted by an energetic 4-year-old and an equally energetic puppy Kristin creates her candy-coated paintings in her home. As we prepared for Kristin to join the Well + Wonder team, we sat down with her in this creative space to chat and learn a little more about the person behind the paintings...Read the full interview in our latest blog post Pardon Me, Kristin Shearer!
And the hits keep on coming! Tomorrow at 10am EST we welcome new Well + Wonder artist Lauren Smith! Lauren’s pieces draw inspiration from the life she shares with her husband, Jonathan, and their three children in North Louisiana. Her works are a creative mixture of her love of interior design and background in graphic arts. A graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, Lauren acquired an understanding of fine arts during her studies, combined with the intense precision of graphic arts.
