It's that time of year again! We blinked and another year has almost come and gone. And we would be remiss not to shop our stash and claim our favorites before the year and major gifting is through. As in years past, we've made our lists, and passed them along to all of our friends, loved ones, and most importantly our Santa. Trust us when we say that our hints as to what art we wouldn't mind finding under the tree come December 25th have not been subtle....you reading this Santa? It's not all about us, though, each member of the Well + Wonder team (and we have a new member! Welcome, Chenault!) also pulled a few paintings they are planning on giving. Keep reading to see what us girls are giving this holiday season.

MOLLIE - Real World by Lexie Armstrong

I have a new niece this year and I can't wait to gift her some original artwork.  Lexie's watercolor of flora and fauna are mesmerizing for children (and grown ups!). I especially love the hand painted borders she adds to these handsome bunnies.

CONNOR - Berry Kiss by Suzanna Toole

Oh, Suzanna! Your paintings are for me. Suzanna debuted her "Found Flower" collection in October and then she gave us a few more, framed works for Small Works. And let me tell you I swooned every time. I think that "Berry Kiss" would make for the perfect start or addition to any little chickens collection and the added bonus is the name's reference to a festive season favorite - The Holiday. Love the wink, Suzanna!

DORY - It's Too Much by Lexie Armstrong

It will be a little Lexie whimsy for my honey-bunnies this year.

CHENAULT - Candy Palms by Kristin Cronic

My daughter's nursery is pink and red, which is one of my favorite color combinations. I think giving the gift of art is amazing, especially to children. I love being able to give them pieces that they can grow into and with vs. buying things that are specifically for children. This Kristin Cronic piece is fun, brings me joy and something I would want in my room also.

MOLLIE - Gilded Mini Moth 4 by Amanda Norman

I just adore Amanda Norman's mini moth paintings with gold leaf backgrounds.  Perhaps just as lovely as the paintings is her message on the back about moths, unlike butterflies how they are not associated with beauty but with strength through their attraction to flames.  Snag one unframed or popped in an acrylic frame and voila, perfect gift for your best gal!

CONNOR - Colorblockin Snow Queen by Kristin Shearer

We popped up in Atlanta in November and Kristin Shearer's Colorblock paintings made the shortlist of work that my friends found top notch. So why not gift one? For all of my ~Snow Queens~ this one is for you!

DORY - Mini Flower Fields - Cosmos by Daphne Xiao

Daphne’s floral fields are entrancing and I love this mini version for a friend.  And I’m sorry - is that fringe?! I love the raw feel that gives the canvas and flare to the piece!

CHENAULT - Rae by Melvin G.

I LOVE Melvin G's face collages and think this would be the perfect gift for any one of your girl friends. You could pair it with a gift card to a local framing spot or to TWCG'S very own, Anne The Framer.

MOLLIE - Outdoorsman #10 by EMYO

The Emyo Outdoorsmen series is the perfect mix of what I like to call "for him, but really for me."  I adore all of Emyo's work and the use of orange and green in these paintings are just perfect.  I love this one with the fishermen and know Dad will too in his new office.

CONNOR - Misty Morning by Savannah Jewell

When I first saw Savannah's collection created in partnership with our tastemaker Cynthia Ruff I was blown away! So moody, so gestural, and with hints of the newest Pantone color Mocha Mousse, it is muah muah muah - chefs kiss! I currently have a Savannah in my possession that needs to be returned to Memphis but if it happens to go missing...It wouldn't be out of bounds to name be prime suspect #1.

DORY - Arnold by Chloe Wood

I love this collection of Chloe’s; the pallet, the stripes and how they contrast and compliment the fish friend - I also love the dimensions of this painting.  Perfect for our study!  I mean my husband!

CHENAULT -  Between the Bunkers by Melissa Gerard

I consider myself a golf widow 10/12 months of the year and think that this is a no brainer for any of our golf loving husbands/boyfriends/brothers etc.

MOLLIE - Sunshine on Yellow Sky by Helen Lary

I've said it before and I'll say it again - I just love these minis from Helen Lary!  The raw canvas, the color mixing, and the hand painted framed - so so good!  So whether it's for me, for my bff, or my sister in law - how could you go wrong with Sunshine on Yellow Sky?

CONNOR - Market Flowers by Christy King

Christy's work never moves from my currently coveting list and her "Market Flowers" painting from her new collection of the same name has taken the top spot. So for my mom who is currently on the hunt for some new artwork or my sister Catherine who likes to drop not so subtle hints on her faves. Oh, how the tables have turned!

DORY - Birdie's Tea by Shannon Woodford

Shannon is new to us this year and I instantly fell in love with her work!  Am I allowed to say tablescapes are also having a moment?!  This one will go to my mom - it is always sunny at Gigi’s!

CHENAULT - Fool For Hire by Connor Heindel

This is on my personal wishlist. I'm obsessed with the colors and how it makes a statement but isn't too overwhelming. Any woman you buy this for would love you forever. Hopefully my husband sees this ;).
