A garage studio in Memphis, Tennessee
Meghean Warner is a watercolor artist in Memphis, Tennessee, where she lives with her husband and three kids. She attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and she received her BFA in Theater Studies. Meghean spent her early twenties designing costumes and large sets, which inspired her love for large canvases. She now starts her work with fifteen foot rolls of paper to make giant leaf pieces that are then broken down into individual papers. She can often be found outside looking for new leaf inspiration along the highway or even up in a tree. She currently paints out of her garage studio, where her kid’s bikes and scooters often make an appearance along with the occasional neighbor kid.
