BIO

Lea Moore is a formally trained artist with a heart for capturing the world around her, drawing inspiration from colors and elements found in the beauty of Creation. Her deep love for art began as a child and developed further as she gained her BFA in Art & Art Education from the University of Georgia. She now teaches art at a local school where she enjoys helping children cultivate that lifelong gift of creativity and expression. With art, she loves finding beauty in the mundane, joy in the hard places, and seeing things come together when you least expect it. Her pieces often showcase a subtle repetition of lines and shapes, and she incorporates collage and torn papers into her work, peaceful colors and rich textures. She and her husband have three boys, and they live in Birmingham, Alabama.
