BIO
Kristin Gaudio Endsley is an abstract painter and ceramicist who has journeyed around the world polishing her eye and ability to create visual textures with a rich, adventurous color palette and expressive techniques. Her geometric paintings display the idea of time as means of achieving a visionary sense of control; at the same time, she pours upon intuition and trust in the senses with her reflective expressionistic paintings, as if letting go and confiding in her own rhythmic and balanced instincts. Harmony is a paramount value for both artistic expressions.
Raised near the rolling shores of Chesapeake Bay, Kristin’s perspective was strongly shaped by the visual clash of industry and nature in and around the bustling American port town of Baltimore. Her new series is based upon the same juxtaposition but from the Moroccan city of Marrakech. She has shown her abstract paintings and ceramics consistently since 2011, with gallery representation both in the UK and the US. Her works have also been published in British Vogue, The Washingtonian, and Better Homes and Garden. She currently lives and works in Washington, DC.
