Kirsten Williams is a contemporary artist who draws endless inspiration from the beauty of everyday life. Family sits at the heart of her practice, and the early floral abstractions she created side-by-side with her two daughters still blossom throughout her work, offering a constant source of inspiration.

Largely self-taught, Kirsten has been painting for over 15 years, guided by curiosity and a love of color. Over the years, she’s explored drawing, photography, quilting, and pottery—each one adding something special to her creative journey—but painting has always felt like home. She now works from her cozy home studio in Fairfax, Virginia.
