Jennifer Staples
STUDIO
Jennifer’s studio is the back porch of her Nashville home, where she paints at a table surrounded by the garden and the everyday rhythm of family life. Flowers, garden clippings, and the changing seasons often make their way into her work, while soccer balls and kids playing are never too far away. She loves that painting happens right in the middle of it all—not tucked away from life, but woven into it. Her husband’s garden is a constant source of inspiration, and many of her paintings begin simply by stepping outside and noticing what is growing.
MEDIUM
Acrylic, oil pastel, mixed media
BIO
Jennifer Staples is a Nashville-based artist and art educator originally from Texas. Her work is inspired by the landscapes, wildflowers, and wide-open spaces she grew up around, as well as the beauty she finds in everyday life. Working primarily in acrylic, Jennifer creates expressive floral and landscape paintings with loose brushwork, layered color, and a quiet sense of place. She is especially inspired by long drives, her husband’s garden, changing seasons, and the beauty of God’s creation. Through her paintings, Jennifer hopes to capture the feeling of being outside and bring a little of that beauty into the home.
