Acrylic, oil, ink
Nan’ Jones painting technique focuses on palette knives, a variety of brushes and plenty of paint. She enjoys adding deep texture to most of her work. She typically uses acrylics but is always experimenting with new mediums. Nan loves to create pieces using unexpected color palates. She is extremely fascinated with the sky, and is continually inspired by its ever-changing beauty. Although she thrives in a creative atmosphere, Nan had stowed away her paintbrushes for several years during college and her 20s. Nan knew that something was missing, but it wasn’t until she returned to painting that she created for herself a “journey that’s instinctive and continuously evolving.”
